Day 1 : Delhi
- Bagdogra
On arrival to Delhi transfer to the domestic
airport to board flight to Bagdogra. On arrival
to Bagdogra airport met with our representative
and transfer to the hotel at Darjeeling (One
of the most beautiful hill station in eastern
India) for overnight stay.
Day 2 : Darjeeling
Early in the morning after breakfast excursion
to Tiger Hill to view sunrise and its reflection
over the Mount Everest and Mount Kanchanjunga
in their majestic glory. Later visit to the
Tibetan Monastery at Ghoom (One of the oldest
monastries in the region and having an enormous
gilded statue of Lord Buddha. This monastery
also has several valuable Tibetan Manuscripts).
Afternoon city tour of Darjeeling visiting the
race course (Darjeeling has the highest race
course in the world), The Mountaineering Institute,
House of Tenzing Norgay (The first Everest Hero).
Overnight in the hotel at Darjeeling.
Day 3 : Darjeeling
to Pemayangste
After breakfast depart for Pemayangste by car.
Afternoon half day sightseeing of Pemayangste
visiting The Pemayangste Monastery in Sikkim
belonging to the Nyingma Sect. (This Tantric
Sect. was established by the Indian teacher,
Padmasambhava, in 18th century. All of its monasteries
are characterized by a prominent image of this
teacher, together with two female consorts).
Evening back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 : Pemayangste
to Gangtok
After breakfast depart to Gangtok by car. On
arrival to Gangtok check into the hotel and
vist the Enchey Monastery on the Nathula Road
and Tashiling (The secretarial) and The Isuk
La Khang (Royal Chapel). Overnight in the hotel
at Gangtok.
Day 5 : Gangtok
After breakfast half day sightseeing to Namgyal
institute of Tibetology and the Chorten, Orchid
sanctuary (In season) and Monastery of Gyalwa
Karmapa at Rumter (23 kms from Gangtok). Evening
at leisure. Overnight in the hotel
Day 6 : Gangtok
- Bagdogra - Delhi
Morning after breakfast free time in the hotel.
In-time transfer to the airport to board flight
to Delhi. On arrival to Delhi transfer to the
International airport to connect flight to onward
destination
